Utilizing abandoned farms and vacant land within the town and Hokkaido, and with investment from people in the Tokyo metropolitan area, the facility is constructed and operated 100% by local companies. In addition, as population decline and labor shortages are issues in rural areas, the facility has introduced a completely unmanned check-in/out system and implemented sustainable cleaning of the rooms.
